Blood Meridian, or the Evening Redness in the West by Cormac McCarthy
This is a very bloody book. It is set back in the wild west times, and though it is a novel, there is no doubt that many of these things occurred. Did I mention it’s bloody? It’s got so much death.
When I write about the books I read, I don’t want to give away the story, but I’m not really sure what the purpose of this story was. It’s a lot of horse riding, lot of shooting, suffering, death. So, if you dig that, read on.
