So, we got some of the new IDEAL wire nuts. and as I looked at one sitting on my table, it started to look like something. So, I made it this! The red and tan on the left made me think of an open robe, so I dotted in some chest hair. The one on the right I just did a face.
I’ve been keeping my eye out for small items that could compliment the wire nuts. There was a bushing from a cord grip that we did not need, and that became the headband on the one below on the left. He’s picking up the dumbbells represented by the nut and bolt. I cut the bushing and made the wire nut on the right some headphones while he’s jogging on the treadmill.
The last one involved some super glue. It’s still a work in progress. The ninja on the left’s eye mask is from the bushing. I cut a small zip tie wrap and glued it to the back. The wire nut on the right has some small pieces of wire in an insulated end glued to both sides. I might make them smaller to look more like daggers then small swords.
